bunnihop
Built for Tuks students

Get around campus, your way.

Bunnihop is a decentralised bike-rental system made for University of Pretoria students. Find a bike nearby, ride when you need to, and return it when you are done.

Your ride in five steps

From map to drop-off

Everything happens in the app, so you can get moving without queues or a rental desk.

01

Find a bike

Open the map to see available bikes around the University of Pretoria campuses, then walk to the one that suits you.

02

Rent in the app

Start your rental in the app when you reach the bike and use the displayed code to unlock it. It's ready when you are.

03

Ride to your destination

Use the bike to get around campus, between campuses, to the shops, or wherever else you need to go.

04

Return to a drop-off zone

End your ride by finding a designated drop-off zone on the map and locking the bike securely.

05

Capture and finish

Take a photo of the locked bike in the app to confirm the return, and you are done.

Pay with your Bunnihop wallet

Keep your rides ready to go.

Link a payment method, add funds to your wallet, and use your available balance to pay for bike rentals. Your wallet makes it simple to pay when it is time to ride.

Two simple rental types.

Dash

Pay as you go

Pay only for the time you ride. Dash rentals are charged per minute, making them ideal for quick trips across and between campuses.
